As we recently joined the Network of Accredited Clinical Skills Centers in Europe (NASCE) as accredited center, we hosted the 8th NASCE conference on 22-23 October. During 2 days, we welcomed +20 participants coming from NASCE accredited skills centers in Europe.
The agenda was aimed at providing a platform for discussions and exchanges of ideas and focused on New Technologies for Interventional Medicine Training.

Participants and faculty attempted to answer questions, such as:
- What are possibilities, limitations and challenges of implementing new technologies in the field of interventional medicine training?
- How can we minimize the risks and optimize the benefits?
In addition to the lectures, participants took part in workshops moderated by the SFITS technological partners:
- Augmedi challenged participants’ anatomical knowledge with a photorealistic 3D models
- ORamaVR immersed them in an operating room, with VR glasses
