It is an honnor to be part of their network! With the NASCE certification, the SFITS takes another step forward in its quest to become a Center of Excellence in surgical and interventional training, research and innovation.
What is NASCE?
NASCE is a multidisciplinary joint committee (MJC) of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). The UEMS is the largest scientific organization in Europe, with over 1.6 million doctors. It also maintains strong connections and relations with European institutions (Commission and Parliament), other independent European medical organizations and European medical/scientific societies.
The committee contributes to individual, inter-professional and multidisciplinary clinical skills education. They promote the patient safety by certifying the highest standards of educations for surgeons and all operating room professionals. Plus their mission aims to push forward the science of clinical education, training, and assessment.
