It is time for the entire SFITS Team to take some rest. The center will be closed from 20.12.2024 to 06.01.2025.
Before we dive into the year-end festivities, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the key highlights that marked 2024. Thanks to your trust, commitment, participation, desire to learn, and smiles, we are able to create unique training experiences that enhance knowledge, skills, and techniques, and make surgery safer for all!
In 2024, we launched our Innovation Program, which brought together the Corporate R&D and the Startup Accelerator initiatives. An increasing number of Swiss and international Medtech companies are testing and validating their innovative solutions in our facilities, placing their trust in us. Now, our expertise and 5-star clinical platform are made available to startups looking to launch their products in the market. 3 of them have already joined our Acceleration Program.
Finally, in collaboration with the EPFL, we were proud to publish a free and resourceful website on “Surgical robots, a curated analysis”, to learn more about approved devices, through quantitative and user-based metrics.
