Directed by Prof. Enrico Tessitore and Dr. Claudio Schonauer, this training program aims at developing knowledge on vertebral sagittal balance parameters applied to cervical and thoraco-lumbar procedures, and at applying key steps of posterior approaches to the CVJ, and of anterior and posterior approaches to the subaxial cervical spine. The course was held between Geneva, Switzerland and Naples, Italy.
Starting the course in Geneva, the participants covered the occipital-cervical pathologies, including both arthroplasty and fusion procedures. They also had the opportunity to debate on several cases discussion presented by the faculties.
We would like to warmly thank the sponsors for giving the participants, the opportunity to test and get familiar with new equipment in a safe environment.
After then, they flew to Naples to end the course at the Centre of Biotecnologies at AORN Cardarelli Hospital where the focus was on the thoracic-lumbar spine and iliac fixation with case discussion and hands on sessions.
A huge thank you to the participants for their willingness to learn and to the faculty for their time and energy. This edition was again a success.
